What color to repaint my car
#1
I'm having the car repainted this week. I want a different shade of silver. Something brighter and more metalic than the stock silver stone mica. I'm leaning towards the liwuid silver right now. Its realy bright, especially when the sun hits it. I don't want to stray too far away form stock because I don't want to paint the door jambs, under the hood, the trunk, etc. Also, my 99 front and wing are going on too. I'm going to paint the wing plane black and leave the sides silver for contrast. Still have to decide weather to paint the front splitter body color. What about the gravel gaurd clearcoat along the bottom? Should I redo that or just ditch it? Any opinions?

Ihor,
I'd take a trip to the local autobody supply house near you. There is one by my work in Booton and another in Cliffside buy my old house. They have tons of swatches that you can look thru and get the number for. Even one's with pearl in it. Also, they can custom mix as well. I've painted way too many cars and not liked the color out of the booth. So, make sure you get what you want. Also, Don't judge the stock Rx-7 color it is a 93 remember, silver is one of the hardest colors to keep in tone even without UV exposure.
