I heard you can push up to 15lbs. with all supporting ignition/fuel mods , tuned ems , intercooler upgrade , efini y pipe. Is this incorrect?

im sure you can but the twins won't like it that much and the performance aspect of it isn't worth it IMO. if your doing all the mods EMS and fuel and such, just go single

Might just add that later 99+ FDs had their boost upped to 13psi. As far as I was aware (rightly or wrongly?) the intercooler is the same for all years, 92-02. The turbos were of course upgraded to easily take the extra couple of pounds of pressure.

There is a guy in the UK that has just completed a project to get the most out of the stock twins (pre-99 ones), and he was using 1.3bar (=19psi!). Alot of other mods, though, but still stock twins.

That would probably be a world record for stock twins.

I've seen FDs run reliably in the 12-14psi range without an aftermarket IC.

im running 13 pounds all day long on an un-tuned PFC, FMIC. my duty cylcles on the injectors are in the 90 percentile range, when i get new injectors i will be running about 15psi, or 1bar of boost. completly "safe"
