should the 'base' map provided by k2rd be good? or would someone be able to provide me with an appropriate map that i could use until i feel comfortable adjusting the fuel and ignition maps on my own.

 

Could be borderline. What air/fuel numbers does it show you at under full boost if you datalog it?

 

i dont have the ems i will be getting it wednesday. think itd be safe to install and take it out just to get those numbers?

 

Yeah I think you would be fine getting those numbers. Just be cautious while making a run. Feel for any breakup while you do it, and of course let off the gas if you do. You could always add 5 or 10% of fuel before hand (through the boost side of the maps) and then take fuel out as necessary. Make sure your 02 sensor isn't old, otherwise you will get some funky readings. I always shot for mid 800's under full boost, which turned out to be about 11:1 on the dyno.

 

ok im glad i replaced the o2 sensor not too long ago. thanks ill do that and give an update tomorrow i hope with the numbers.

 

hmm.. the harness they built for me only accomodated three of the four original connectors? i called a few times and got no response, i emailed them and im now waiting for a response.
