okay so this whats going on: when i accelerate i build about 4psi of boost and once my rpms climb is trails off to around 1psi. what seems odd is that if i'm in the lower RPMs and i let off the gas i hear the bov and another sound that i can only describe as this nasty whine that i'm guessing is compressor surge. so i'm wondering wtf is going on. i had camel take a look, and he said he doesn't think the turbos are dead because i'm not smoking at all when driving, but he said he isn't sure.

so now i know you are all going to say check all your lines, well i did that and all of them are on. so basically what i'm wondering is what seperate systems if failing would cause this issue?

Its called a boost leak. Happens in singles too and pretty much every other turbo charged car. Either one of your couplers need to be replaced or one of your hose clamps on the couplers need to be replaced.

Give me a call sometime this week, in the evenings. Let me see if I have some time this weekend and you can swing by with the car and I can go a little more in-depth on it. When I stopped by the other day i was trying to get the car running for you, and I had other things going on in the backround. Now that its driveable you can swing it by where my tools are and we can do a better diagnosis.
