Something's Wrong Again

Sweet. Hey thanks for the help here guys. It sounds like those BNR's are pretty good and not outrageously priced too. So I think I'll get those. I'm also going to send my intake manifolds to rx7trix.com to get them coated unless I hear anything bad about them or the coating before I do. Also with this rebuild, I'm going to get the upgrades I was planning for this summer anyways which are a Power fc, hi-flow cat., and a new clutch. And since the engine'll be easy to get to, I'll be able to put on that underdrive pulley that I bought but could get on. I'm all excited now. Past the grief stage and into the feeling like a little kid on christmas morning stage

I have a set of Ceramic coated Pettit upgrades converted to non-sequential if you are interested. Oh yeah... with your mods.... you may consider looking into an ECU upgrade soon.

Okay here's an update. Don't have any pics so this'll have to do. I got everything out of the engine bay, it turns out, I have an aluminum koyo rad. that I dind't know about. So that'll save me some money.
I took my engine apart to ship to Pettit Racing as a core since Jeff told me I might as well just keep the rotor housing be cause I'm getting new ones with the engine. It turns out that I didn't blow any apex seals. They were all fine except it looked like the spring on one went flat because that one wouldn't pop up. What went wrong was that sometime the egine must have been run really low on oil becusae the thrust bearing that's between the eccentric shaft and the stationary gear for the front rotor was welded to the stationry gear. So it looks like that seized up and it chewed over half of the teeth off of it and the front rotor. So the eccentric shaft is shot, so is the front rotor, the stationary gear, the front and intermediate housings, and the rear rotor looks a little messed up too. So Pettit Racing told me to not even send it in as a core.
Then yesterday, we were getting ready to paint the engine bay CYM (we're slowly painting the whole car CYM) when we noticed that the driver side of the frame was bent. So now we have to go get that straightened too.
On the bright side, my new engine is coming, so are my new turbos and midpipe. I also bought a new dash, so I won't have giant slashes through it anymore from when it got stolen, and a new headliner for the same reason. And, I have narrowly avoided death twice so far, so I think I'm meant to finish this. The first time was when me and my dad were getting the transmission unbolted, the car was up on jackstands and blocks. My dad said he put the e-brake on, btu the instant I out from underneath the car, it rolled off the blocks and fell off the jack stands. The second time was my fault. I was trying to get a little rubber thing to seat where it is supposed to and ended up stabbing myself in the eye with a screwdriver. Missed all the important part of my eye though, ended up just punching a little hole in the eyelid. So it's all good and a valuable lesson was learned.
This week we're getting the frame starightened, and starting painting. We ahve to wait another couple weeks for the new parts to start arriving, so it'll be slow untill then. More updates as they come.
