what's the best way to store my s4 13bt engine

Dump a bunch of two stroke oil in the intake, spin it around by hand until it's puking out the exhaust.
Donezo.
Worked awesome for me, my motor sat 9 months or something just like that, fired up awesome when I used it again.

my car has sat for 6 months as is, 6 months is not that long
i let one of my gsl-se's sit for a couple years, one of those was in a field, it fired right up and ran like a champ and saw plenty of track days after that....

Someone told me that if you let a rotary sit for too long (from what he said more than a year) the apex seals will go bad and the engine will seize. Is that true?
its true about 1% of the time, the other 99% of the time you can leave the motor out in the rain for years and it will fire right up and run like a champ

the apex seals dont go bad, there gets to be a thin layer of rust that locks them to the rotor housing
also the springs get non-moistened from no oil and when they spin around they get stuck in the down position
you know what you could do if you were really worried about it, dump a buttload of two stroke in the intake the day you are going to fire it up, then turn it over
i bet it would run like a champ
