Hello everyone i havent posted anything in a long time. Ive been very busy going to school and so far ive gotten my MIG welding certification. I havent been using my car at all but i have been stating it up of course like twice a week. So last night i took the car on a little trip babying it the whole night and as i was arriving to my house in second gear i gave it 3/4 of throttle,it boosted 11 pounds and at once i hear this loud grinding noise. So i pulled it up my driveway and now its idling Very rough. I was thinking it was vacuum leak and i know my car inside out and there is no vacuum leak. Now today before i started it i dropped some oil down the intake and turn the motor without starting it. Checked everything, oil, plugs etc. Any suggestions might help. Oh and it ISNT blowing water out of the exhaust, so i guess thats a good thing. Thanks a lot guys

Compression test first and foremost.

Sounds to me like you blew 'er up. I'll bet you find your rear chamber will produce no compression.

Sorry man. The bright side would be that this is an opportunity to learn how to rebuild.

**** rebuild... thats easy... reinstall... now we're talkin... make sure you remember where everything goes, and much more importantly... don't lose any bolts... i've been delayed months cus of college and missing 1 bolt here 2 there. terrible.

Yeah i would go for a 20b but the whole setup would cost me around 6K. Now one reason why i dont think its the motor is because it was rebuilt about 10k miles ago.

So other than that i cant think what the hell it could be.When i rev it up it revs smooth like it used to before but at idle, its bad. I know i still need to do a compression check but i have never done one before. How are these performed, what tools would i need and or where could i have it done ? Thanks alot guys
