Yeah and whoever said it was a 4 hour job is on crack.
I've done mine twice now because I thought I switched a line somewhere.
Anybody got an extra pill??? PM me if you do.
PM JimmyJimboJet...I think he might going single so he wouldnt need it.
Alright this might be a dumb question but I was talking to my friend who has a 300 ZX TT and he said that when he installed his AVC-R, he took the pills out. I've already got an AVC-R (was on it when I bought it). Should I have the pill then? I don't remember seeing it during the hose job. Still I can't seem to find why I'm having transition problems. My second turbo doesn't want to boost and it jerks the car sometimes at WOT.
I pretty sure you dont need them if you are running an aftermarket boost controller. However you still need a pill in the pre-spool actuator for the stock twins. I would highly reccomend getting the needlevalve setup for this if you are running seq..a little bit of street tuning and I almost completly eliminated the secondary "surge". The valve slows down the actuator.
heres a pic incase you're not sure what im talking about..

Oops, that pic shows the valve hooked up to the WG actuator
, it needs to go on the Pre-spool actuator (bottom one), and I was mistaken about the pill for the WG, you NEED the pill for the stock twins regardless of the boost controller.
Sorry for any confusion
