That was his last set-up. It was the purple until the tec was available. Trust me I worked there for christ sakes. People always want to dis agree and ******* fight. God damn this place can be gay sometimes.
Besides, you coulda said that he ran the purple until he switched to the TEC. I was just looking for clarification. You can be gay sometimes.

I'm not looking for any answers, I'm looking for accurate answers. If I was a know-it-all I wouldn't always be asking for people to define their short reponses.
I guess man but to me you are a dick and not worth helping. bye

keep the 850's use the piggy back the way it's meant to be used.
add fuel to the WOT map 2200, 4000, 6000, 7800 cells where it needs it.
retard timing ~1 degree for every psi over stock boost.
Purple box is AWESOME controlling seq...just run the pri 1 psi less than the sec.
Box works for NS.
end of story.

One thing that I never understand it the statement of maximum limits (boost, fuel, whatever) without a comment as to why.. it's an inevitable followup question. So, Why 15PSI? Max of the fuel system? Max turbo efficiency?
2 part answer.
1. the intake air temps are high enough stock that going much over 10psi, and you need to be adding more fuel to keep the rotors cool, but you cant cause the injectors are sized for 250hp not 350 hp. i think its been proven that if you can keep control of the boost spiking, and give the engine enough fuel that more than 10psi can be done, you just have to be careful and know what you're doing
2. most people are morons, and if you pound 10psi into their heads they wont blow the car up (and some do anyways). its like the old 3 mod rule....

I guess I was under the impression that greater than 15PSI was attainable with additional modifications on the stock twins..
On second thought, I should have known that 15PSI was a realistic mechanical boundary for these turbos.

well mechanical meaning they physically cant spin any faster, but thats beyond the point where the air intake temps get too high. remember the stock setup doesnt have an intercooler (basically) as the ic and airbox share a duct, and the airbox pulls hot air from the engine bay thru the ic core.
they fixed this issue for the 99 cars.
its funny when we go to the track, all the fd guys will sit and compare temps to see who overheated more in the last session..... we run an na
