now that i got my 7...

ok i finally got my FC and i was looking at some things to do for it. the motor is rebuilt with just over 10k miles on it (papers to prove it) it needs to be painted but i can wait until the spring for it. but i want to know what should i do next i was thinking about upgrading the turbo but i want to take care of the fuel set up. he gave me a brand new walbro 255 so i am going to install that next weekend, and i want to get some bigger injectors like 720cc's because i think i am going to go with rtec 1.7. so what is the deal with the e fans? any better then the fan ran by the belt? can any efan do? i hve one from my civic that still works? i only have about 500 bucks left to play with, what should i do with that?

e-fans, this is what i found, removing the clutc type fan is alot like adding a light flywheel, though it doesnt increase hp what it does to is realice hp that was used to turn the clutch fan and belt. now as far as what type of fan i use F.A.L. fantums because they flow a hell of alot of cfm wich rotaries need to help keep cool. dont cheap out on the fan if you choose to switch to the e-fan you will regret it.
as far as a turbo goes, what version fc do you have? s4 or s5 then also dont go too big as the 720cc injectors wont hold up very well with stock 550cc primary injecton and alot of boost from a big turbo.
this is what i recomend, if the vehical doesnt already have a underdrive pully set up on it , get them not only do they work well , the timming marks come in very handy when tuning . also invest in a good exhaust and then look into turbo options.
at anyrate do drivabuility and reliabulity upgrades first and formost.

A good tune up is what you need to start with if it has not be done yet. There is a thread in the 2nd Gen FAQ on what to do. You could add all these modifications to the car, but without a tune up, it is not worth a damned.
Congrats on the purchase, you will learn alot from this forum, and we are always here to help you out.
Oh, how about some pictures, mileage, color?

but i can tell you about it
color blue ext and int miles 120,231 miles with rebuild done at 113xxx ( i have the papers to prove it) the car has had a tune up (papers to prove it) about 2000 miles ago. it has an apex n1 dual exhaust turbo back with a new cat (papers to prove it) it is nice i like it but i need to install the FCD i have not had the chance to read the instrutions because i am hosting a bacherllor party this weekend aka in 5 mins..lol but i just want the car to run good and last me a long time since the motor only has 8k on it. it is so comfy i love it i need to do some minor body work but i am going to prep it this winter and as soon as spring rolls around i will paint it because the roof and the hood are faded so i am going to paint it SI blue. i will see if i can get some pics up on it thanks for the heads up on the FAQs and here is a link to see the pic of the car from the old owner
MY LOVELY FC
