Well, it finally stopped raining long enough to throw my exhaust on.

Well I wouldnt say throw so much as wrestle.



For those who already know, skip this paragraph



When I swapped a 12a 6PI into my 83 rx I left the stock 12a Exhaust on mainly because it was just easier. last time I'll assume that. The Engine didnt seem to agree with the exhaust so now I had to switch it back. After I did this it definitly sounded different and idled well below what it usually does. But the problem was that the 12a manifold is about 3.5in longer than the 12a 6PI manifold. So I tried to eye the angles to get my cut some place where I could just put in a straight piece. It didnt work out that way.



So introducing my new shorter exhaust. No laughing

It will work until I get some money.

And here are the actuators, working now.

Get a good look, when I pull the intake to fix it Im pulling the sleeves and scrapping the actuators.

And I just came in from running it around the block.

Anybody wanna buy a 12a 6PI without Instructions???

It still sputters like crazy on take off and if I press the pedal too hard.........

think its my fuel pump....Its only 4 lbs.

Heres a pic of my accelerator pump adjust. Thats about as much as I know about that!!





Think I should lay off that adjust a little?

EXHAUST SOUNDS GREAT THOUGH...if i ever get to take it on the road I wonder if the cops will let me keep it???
