actually, this product will work... but not for the reasons stated. it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the engine twisting. It's the thin oil pan flange does not distribute the force of the torqued bolt over the lenght of the oil pan. This "brace" has a thick enough flange to do that.



Ever seen a older V8 valve cover? They did the exact same thing on a smaller scale with their bolt tabs.















that would be the peices at the bottom of the pic for those of you not familiar with them.

i will agree to this, i just laugh and go on the defencive when people say the **** that was said after my first coment. no its not that time of the mounth i just found the whole TWISTING comment wrong.

I guess your engine doesn't make any good torque. Maybe twist was a poor choice of words..."flex" better?



this is not a new modification...just cheaper and better than what is all ready out there.

i have a few motors i have built that do make good power, 350 to 500 hp and what i use is the mazda grey sealent, i have not had one oil leak in the pan. about the only leak i have had was on the damn -An adapter for the oil cooler lines. and exuse my rudness, i go on the defencive easy.
