yes, motor twists creates cracks between the flimsy oil pan "flange" and the motor...this bad boy sandwiches, as you can see.

kevin.

it's not too late yet...do you have an oil leak?

fc3sboy1 04-11-2007 08:49 AM

the engine does not twist! the bolts vibrate loose over time as well as the oil eats away the stock gasket. dude the engine has no way of twisting who the **** thought that masterpeace theater exuse is a morron.

randy

Nice rant, now learn to spell correctly and use proper grammar and maybe someone will take your point as valid.

This is an effective piece to prevent oil leaks and does brace the pan better than stock. Garfinkle's Brace is also SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than others on the market and requires no fabrication to make work (like the others).

Learn the facts.

i may not know proper grammer, or spelling but i do know my way around an engine. now as far as this brace is concerned i find it a waist of money, if the makers of these braces are saying its to prevent the engine from twisting causing an oil leak there seriously out of there minds. check the bolts on the pan guaranty they will be loose or alteast looser then proper toqure from vibrations over time, now also if there is such a thing as a rota twisting dont you think by logic that mazda designed this pan flange to be thin like this so it will flex with the engine?

here is a even cheaper way to stop the oil pan leaks, use ****** loctite on the pan bolts

fc3sboy1 04-11-2007 09:39 AM

also to add to that, there are 2 differnt metals that make up a motor, aluminum and cast iron, both expand and contract at differnt rates when heat is involved, so there for you add something that is supost to make the pan rigid more problems will show there faces like the bolt streach
