Ok I have a big problem. I did the non-seq full change over, ive been posting my results lately. Evidently i didnt reattach my omp wires under the water pump back correctly when i put everything back together. They fell down and got cought up in the eccentric shaft. I have blocked off the tubes for the omp and premix anyway.

I need to know If and where I can put resistors in the wires for the omp to STOP limp home mode! Im goin nuts! All these friggin mustangs and hondas passin me on the interstate and I cant do ****!

PLEASE HELP!!

BTW I've done like 10 searches on this and have either not found an answer to this particular question or the thread turned into a why and is synthetic oil safe thread. This is just about the resistors thread.

Thanks

So the connector got ripped off? I dont see the diff if its is there or not and why the ripped connector end alone would throw it in limp mode. If that is the case did you just try putting wire nuts on each ripped end individually just to keep them from touching? If that doesnt cure it sounds like you might need to re-install the OMP untill you have a stand alone. I was using a power FC when I took my OMP off & I never saw any limp mode.

1st HEY JOHN! 2nd im still running stock ecu. If I hadn't fucked up and forgot to make sure the wire was secured under the water pump It'd be all good. so i'm mainly poed at myself.

The wire was hanging and was slowly eaten through till the red wire was cut all the way and the zip tie got stuck in the round thingy that the crank position sensors use to get a reading from. I fixed what wires I could find but im still getting the code. i'm guessing that the wires may have been pulled out of the omp itself.

i've got a dead OMP from an FD that you can have for shipping costs if you want a good harness to work with.
