I had a major problem with my idle last week. It was jumping from 2k-3k rapidly. I installed a new idle speed control sensor ($620 from mazda) and it now works perfectly.

Re-check ALL the gaskets. Is the UIM tight? It almost HAS to be a vacuum leak. Even if you can't hear or see it. I'm still trying to get off work to come look at it!

well, youre def right on the vac. leak. The UIM is torqued to factory spec. When warm, it idles @ 1.5k-2k and vac is @ 10-12. Drove it finally, and one run had 5psi and it built up like a single turbo.....next run was all N/a and every one after that was N/a as well.

damn multi-post-*****.

you have a leak somewhere, take some WD-40 or some carb cleaner and spray it on ur lines/gaskets and search.. Make sure everything is plugged up and all your grounds are on.

took it up to bi-state and had some help up there. Idle is still F*cked, but found and fixed a few probs:

Took ground out from inbetween LIM and UIM and put it on top (the HUGE vac. leak)

plugged a nipple left open on the y-pipe.

thats all i can think of off the top of my head. Now it'll steadily idle @ 1800. Still pretty high imo, but now it only jumps ~2500 if i turn on the lights

who knows....but the boost is fun!
