hey every1,

JUST finished my NS conversion...and i go to start the car. No check engine lights or nething...but the car JUMPS from 2k to 2500 on idle. and even if i start it in gear, it tries to swing to 3k for AWS even tho i start it in gear...

 

ne ideas why it would do this? did i forget to connect somethin?

 

Check the throttle cable.

 

throttle cable is ok, doesnt move and its totally closed when @ rest

 

Big vacuum leak?

 

that shouldnt have nething do to with it....i j/ went full NS

 

Double check the hoses you capped. Also make sure you didn't screw up the idle screw somehow...

 

anybody know where the line from the oil filler neck goes and which way the check valve sits on it? somebody on the "evil" forum (lol) suggested that, but there hasnt been a response since

 

what do u mean? u can have a big vac leak after non seq



i would bet it might be vac line check one more time

havent driven her yet.....would LIKE to have the idle issue fixed before i do. Might take her out later though. Any idea on the oil filler neck? cuz that obviously needs a line
