My FD developed a nasty clunk in the right rear corner today . I know this is a known issue with the stock suspension but wot exactly has gone wrong?

How best do I deal with it and how urgent is it?

When does it clunk? Under accel, decel, hard shifting, launching, turning, etc. If it's under hard acceleration or hard shifting it's probably a rear diff bushing. If it's while turning, you're looking at something else.

okz, it clunks while going over bumps and while braking to a stop from low speed. I first noticed it coming out of a mall and I went over a speed bump, then it started doing it over any little change in road surface.

Doesnt seem to clunk under acceleration and truning makes no difference.

if it does it when you set the ebrake, or when you stop and go into reverse, its the rear upper pillow ball joint. if it happens while you are just cruising down the street, its the rear lower pillow ball joint

oh btw I cant decide on whether I should remove my sub enclosure and amps from the boot for drag racing. On one hand i'd lighten the car by at least 20kg, but on the other i'm taking weight off the rear and I have a hard time keeping the rear stuck to the tarmac as it is wot to do, wot to do........
