I dont see the need to control boost in specific gears.

Manual boost controller will get you consistant boost in every gear.

You mean to say that you want 12 psi in 2nd then when you go for 3rd you want to get a different boost level?

Could you tell me why you would want that?



The only need I could see for the AVC-R would be if you had a single and were trying to control high boost. For the boost produced my the twins the AVC-R is overkill and a you would be spending cash on stuff you don't really need.

Well, here's my theory...I spin the wheels or get wheel hop consistently when I launch hard. I was thinking that if I had the ability to set my first gear boost to say 7-8psi and climb on up as I climb through the gears and traction increases. The point being I don't think I'd be so prone to breaking the back end loose and I might get more consistent launches...

Just a thought...God knows I could be wrong in my thinking.

What track are you running at?

Ever considered just not trying to launch it so hard?

If anything I would suggest a better set of tires or a diff brace.

A differential brace is definitely on my list of mods...You're right, I'm not drag racing...if anything I go to Summit Point for a FATT which is a road track anyway. You're also right...I need some more beef on my rear wheels too but I don't have $2k to spend on new wheels right now.
