I need to get my airpump and alternator off, but there seems to be something holding them onto the points that they hinge at.

What is this holding them and how do i release it?

Cheers

sorry, i should mention that ive removed all the bolts.

Both of them "hinge" around one bolt and have the other bolt that holds them in place.

The hinge is holding them, i cannot see how to get them off - looks like there is a metal bar in the hole but i cant work out how to get them out.

alternator has the 3 bolts, IIRC. tensioner, hook and the hinge. if all are out, you can gently pry the alternator out of the hinge area. dont loose the spacer.

for the alternator... there is a long bolt that you should pull out and just move hte alternator back and forth til you get the thing off
