you don't have to remove EVERYTHING but if your gonna bother you might as well. i would probably leave the power steering though. when i took mine out i put in a manual rack. you will save a good bit of weight but its a good amount of work to remove everything

I am ripping out my P/S and leaving the stock rack in there. If I get bigger arms as a side effect, that's fine with me.

It's easier to turn it once the pump has been removed. When the belt breaks, you have to push fluid through the stopped pump when you turn the wheel. When you take out the system, you just move it through the rack.

Pull off the air pump, and cap the hose that goes to the ACV. Or buy the ACV block off plate, and remove it too.

What does the ACV do if you leave the lines to it open? Will it cause a vacuum leak or something? I started my car the other day with mine open and it seemed fine. I think I am going to fabricate a block-off plate. Can I use one for an N/A as a template? RD has one on his red N/A.
