other than just removing the pumps,,,do i need to remove everything with them?(meaning everything that has to do with the specific one) i want to remove the belts and see if i feel a difference in engine running,,,TIA Leo

you don't have to remove EVERYTHING but if your gonna bother you might as well. i would probably leave the power steering though. when i took mine out i put in a manual rack. you will save a good bit of weight but its a good amount of work to remove everything https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png

no i dont want to remove the p/s because i just realized the work out i will get by just driving,,,,so leaving the p/s i will have to leave the big bracket as well?

I am ripping out my P/S and leaving the stock rack in there. If I get bigger arms as a side effect, that's fine with me.

are you sure unique? my ps belt broke the other day and i could barely turn the wheel. I am not a body builder but im not screech from saved by the bell!

It's easier to turn it once the pump has been removed. When the belt breaks, you have to push fluid through the stopped pump when you turn the wheel. When you take out the system, you just move it through the rack.

Pull off the air pump, and cap the hose that goes to the ACV. Or buy the ACV block off plate, and remove it too. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

What does the ACV do if you leave the lines to it open? Will it cause a vacuum leak or something? I started my car the other day with mine open and it seemed fine. I think I am going to fabricate a block-off plate. Can I use one for an N/A as a template? RD has one on his red N/A.
