That sounds exactly like what its doin if i get on it when I shift it will leave a big puff of smoke ingulfing the car behind in the rear view mirror looks like something from a car too lol but I just talk to a friend and old rotary head he said its possible that the electric metering pump is pumping oo much since its still plugged in to the efi harness that I may need to go to an older manual style and run the lines into the Carb old school way he says if it was an oil seal problem it would smoke even at low rpm and normal cruising
