Anyone know why when my car is warming up first thing in the morning the exhaust from the front rotor is full of white smoke. I know it is the front rotor because I have uncollected dual exhaust, and only one pipe is blowing smoke. Also at high rpms if I let off the gas it will smoke bad. Any ideas?

I'm thinking that maybe your injector isn't clean, and is leaking fuel onto the rotor after shut-down, I've heard of T2s only starting on one rotor because of this, its just an idea. Also, the smoking after letting of the gas is another sign that maybe something isn't right w/ the injector or fuel system, what color is the smoke when you decelerate, white again? or blue?

It is white. I makes a huge white smoke-screen behind me. If it were blue it would oil causing the smoke, right?

I think the normal oil consumption for the 13B is about a quart every 1500 miles, right? I go through a little more than that, I'd say about a quart every 800 - 900 miles. I've checked my coolant level many times and the level hasn't gone down at all.

Also, forgot to say, that when I am accelerating quickly, or racing I get a white puff of smoke when I let off to change gears.

I have about 126,000 mi. on the engine, it still seems to run strong. The smoke does have an odor, like burnt oil.

Around the first of the year I am planning on doing an engine swap anyway, so I am not too concerned. Just thought that there might be a quick fix. Thanks.

Yep! Now I just gotta figure out what I want to swap to; turbo, sc, or V8. I probably will not go with the sc, unless I can figure out a way to make it more efficient. Plus I'd like to keep it rotary powered so I am leaning to doing a turbo swap due to the abundance of after market parts, but #### it's expensive.
