thats bwhat ive been thinking about it only *knows* reverse and 5th and the only thing that knows the speed is the speedometer, which is mechanical so that doesnt even go through the computer.



is it possibly it uses the tach or something?



i dont see any way for the car to bog specifically in 3rd.

did everything i could with the info i got from this FAQ section, FC3Spro website, rotary ressurection website, rx7club.com FAQ. it wont go away. anyone want the car? take $1,000 bucks for it. its got 3 grand in it. cant get rid of the 3800 rpm problem and i am tired of dealing with it. ive grounded all four ecu grounds, grounded the pressure sensor ground, battery has 2 extra 4-guage grounds besides stock ground, grounded upper intake, tranny, harness ground on top of block ran back to battery, fuel pump has been grounded, new fuel pump, new secondary injectors, new plugs and fuel filter. among other things if you want the car it has all four drilled and slotted rotors, converted to 5-lug with 4 piston calipers, s5 front and rear bumpers, s5 tailights, 3 inch megan racing exhuast, new computer, new guage cluster with carbon fiber insert and glow gauges, short shifter, stage 3 clutch, new tranny, new master and slave cylinder, new front struts, new rear carpet with cargo boxes, panasonic head unit, cd/mp3, two 500 watt 6x9's , two 500 watt 5 1/4's,(both sets powered by 250 watt amp) two 4'' in dash, 2 tweeters, and 10 sub with 400 watts, dash in mint condition, door panels mint, no front carpet, seats arent the greatest, new sunroof and motor, body is good with some waves in passenger door, have extra door, extra motor and extra tranny, theres more but **** thats too much to write sombody just take this peice of **** off my hands... should have known then to buy a damn import. .... $1,000 and its yours. i am in warner robins, georgia, 31088

 

have you tried a Apexi AFC? Pretty sure that would fix you up.

5th and 6th are wired open. i mean ive treid everything. the only thing i could think of other than that is my volt gauge is reading just a tiny bit above 12 volts... most cars run at about 14 volts. got a buddy with an 86 rx7 and his volts are reading exact same as mine and his doesnt stumble one bit. other than that... i guess its going up for sale locally. either gonna get a T2 or another toyota 4x4
