when going into third gear the rpms drop tremendously and sounds as if it had a cam and rpms will not climb at all... instead of the smooth bzzzzzz its like (2nd gear) bzzzzzzzzzzzzz-(3rd gear) bdddddddddddddddddd.... but... if i go from 3rd (while it is bogging) into 4th for like a second or two and then right back into 3rd from 4th its fine and climbs good.

COULD THIS BE THE PROBLEM. sorry for uppercase had to get ebveryon back on track.

2 of my omp lines broke right where they go into the lower intake manifold and 1 on one of the housings... i patched them up for a quick fix with vacuum hose tubing and alot of silicone... but by the way its acting (read first post again) i dont think thats it, although i do know that will cuase problems on down the raod...

I thought you said you were a mechanic in one post? A mechanic would never "quickfix" OMP lines...that's just asking for a blown motor. Either have a proper lubricated system, or run premix. Then, pick up a good EFI tuning manual and go standalone...with a car that has as many problems as yours, you may want to consider a compression test, stripping it down to short block form, replacing all the gaskets, use injectors made by bosch, greddy, nippon denso, etc (not from Autozone or Advance Auto or whatever), wire up a cheap Microtech ECU standalone system and go to town. Just go through the car top to bottom with genuine mazda parts or a decent aftermarket setup. It's costly, but thats why its always dangerous to buy somebody else's mess and try to fix it.

yesi am a mechanic, i work on car that have things called pistons. i did the quick fix becuase i odnt care about this motor... im actually hoping it blows so i have an excuse to get a ported rebuilt one. i mean... this motor is pretty new, but... it wasnt put in or set up by me. i dont like buying stuff from other people after theyve hacked all over it. and im new to rotarys and am learning abou tthem still. all im trying to figure out is whats making it bogg down in 3rd gear, i dont see any mechanical way its doing this, its got to be with the computer or the electrical system and since i dont have all the time in the world to sit down and go through the wiring and how the computer is set up im asking your you guys' advice becuase somebody else might have had this problem... and help would be greatly appreciated
