Turbo Vs. Na Modified??
Hey guys....i've been debating this topic forever....and i'm still undecisive...granted that a T2 has alot more power and is obviously more responsive and faster....i'm having a trouble deciding wheather to save money and be carless for a while and get a turbo2 or carb. and modify my na....the whole problem is that a t2 runs for about 2500-3000 for a decent one around here and that if your lucky and actually find one....i have 1000 with me....i was thinking of carb. with some coil blasters on my na...or should i buy a 13b from the junkyard and port and rebuild that one.....i'm confused and looking for some help....
Your car came with EFI might as well keep it then having to rip out the pump and regulator and other stuff.Heres some insight I hope will help you a bit.275 rwhp NA
Depends if you want the feel of the turbo or not.. I have an n/a and it's cool, but never driven a TII. If I were you I would just keep saving some money and wait until you find a good TII. Good luck. :bigthumg:
RacerX: so your recomending a modified car./efi system with a port and mix and matching the motor itself??
Rx7Machine: i appreciate the advice...only thing that scares me tho is that i've been looking for a t2 for about 3-4 months and still haven't found one....so lets suppose i sell mine and get 2000 (highly unlikely) and add my 1000....then i would be stuck with no ride to work....no work = no money to play with....

i like na batter than a turbo, its a lot easier to drive.
