ok so i finally got my 13B 88 vert to idle not well but it idles. When i give it to much fuel it backfires through the intake and exhaust and falls on its face i went through the engine no vacuum leaks or anyother leaks of any kind.



so i have to wonder does this engine have a timing advance with engine load? and yes i did check and set the timing as per the mazda manual. So what else could it be? im so close to making this a driver and stomping my neighbors ricer



any advise would be helpful



p.s. yes its got good compression in T and L



plugs and wires also new.



could it be a injector firing be causeing this?
