Hey Guys,

How hard would it be to swap out my s4 motor for a lil fancier s5 motor? I could use as much info as possible cost elntronics and wiring cpu? I was wondering if any one has done this i understand that the basic motor and all acc are the same i know it would be mostly wiring and matching the engine harness and cpu anything would be helpful thanks

turbo swap or just na swap? either way its the same process for the most part. if its na you only need to get a s5 keg. thats it. just slap her in and use everything off your s4 onto the s5 and your good to go. if your doing a tii swwap then all the electronic parts need to be s4 unless you go stand alone or feel like attempting a wiring mess that will make you wanna kill yourself. i did the latter of the two and im running s5 turbo and intake with s4 tb so i could use the s4 tps still. and its a beast, when it wants to rrun right.

S4 and S5 EC pins are slightly different. Not big a deal to rewire . You need a S5 harness for the elec. controlled OMP . If you just unplug it, it goes in limp mode if you use an S5 ECU.
