ok now that my FC is back and running i check my timing and what is it suposed to be at? i forgot, i also have rx7.com's pulleys and it has 4 bars what bar is it supposed to be at? right now it is in the center of all 4 . What again is a good way to change the timing? i remomber pullin the TPS out and spinning the gear, what about fine tunnig it, i wish i could remember.

Are you using a timing light? If yes then you put the inductive coil around the L1 wire and the pointer should line up with the red mark, which is 5 degrees before TDC. If you put the coil around the T1 wire it should be at yellow, 20 degrees BTDC.



The RP pulley probably has the same marks as the Racing Beat pulley, 10 and 20 BTDC, 0, and 10 ATDC.

so Leading is 5 BTDC & Trailing is 20 BTDC

then why does the pulling not have a timing marker for 5 BTDC if thats what its supposed to be at?

I'm pretty sure that the red mark is 5 BTDC. You can check the factory manual at http://www.fc3s.org just to be sure. I guess that's just the way they designed the pulley. ???

i did it and the Leading L1 should be @ 5 ATDC, i tried it at 5 BTDC and it was very shitty. Thanks for the help anyways
