My car is a 1986 GXL....I'm putting a TII engine into my GXL.....rebuilding the engine right now, already have S5 TII tranny (i'm pretture sure its S5 gonig by the differences I've read between S4 & S5). I plan on running my n/a rear end for awhile, since I'll be running the stock snail, etc. I've been told a way to do it by Supra7 from teamfc3s. He told me to get a TII driveshaft and TII differential flange (that mates u-joint to diff), he said then to just take my n/a diff. flange and the TII one to any machine shop, and have them grind the TII one down to the size of the n/a one. This make sense to anyone or anyone have experience with this? Anyone know if it matters if I get s4 or s5 diff flange and driveshaft? I guess RXTREME ran like this for awhile until his n/a diff. **** on him.
