hi i am new to this forum. . . ok heres my problem i just dropped in the new motor (T2 S5) into my N/A S5 and i noticed that the harness that connects to the strater on the trans is different from the n/a version. i was thinking about cutting up the jdm harness and customizing it but i don't know if that is wise. so i need some advice about how to do this.

If you are worried about cutting up the new harness just make a short pigtail connector to go between the starter and the JDM harness. Once you are certain it works correct it will not be as scary to cut the harness.

Use the ones from the old harness. If I remember they are quite easy to remove. Almost impossible to make a mistake.
