Have Some Questions
#1
OK
I never tried to design a website or anything even close. I just went to WEBMONKEY and checked out the HTML basics. It's pretty staright forward but still is sort of confusing.
So I have 20MB's of web space
Questions:
1. Can DREAMWEAVER design a page like (NP for example)?
2. If it can, than can I do it off-line, and add pics and **** like that from my PC?
3. I want a pretty cool site, with lots of color and links that lead to pics, info, and stuff like that. So, how long would it take me to create a simple INTRO PAGE using HTML.
4. If I want a page like NP.COM, do I use HTML or Dreamweaver, or does Dreamwearver do the work of HTML?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Yes and no. Dreamweaver is a great program and I definetely recommend it. Nopistons.com however isn't written in html, Nopistons.com and pretty much every site I do at this point is written in php.
2. If it can, than can I do it off-line, and add pics and **** like that from my PC?
Yes, in fact that is pretty much the only way. Develope the pages offline, then save them to your hard drive and use an ftp program to upload the files to your website.
3. I want a pretty cool site, with lots of color and links that lead to pics, info, and stuff like that. So, how long would it take me to create a simple INTRO PAGE using HTML.
That's really a tough one to answer, I would suggest playing with dreamweaver and seeing what you can do. It all depends on how comfortable you become with thml and dreamweaver itself.
4. If I want a page like NP.COM, do I use HTML or Dreamweaver, or does Dreamwearver do the work of HTML?
Dreamweaver is an html editor, it writes what you input into html. If you want a site exactly like nopistons.com you'll have to pickup a book on php, there aren't really any programs to write php for you, however it's pretty simple to learn and once you learn it very easy to develop sites and simple programs.
Let me know if some or all of that didn't make sense

One more request
There's gonna be a huge NP crowd at the RX7 REVOLUTION in INDY, so what I wanna do (With your permission) is get a HUGE (Huge as in 2x5 feet) "NoPistons.com" banner and have it displayed on the hood of my car while it is there. It would be made out of cloth and be white with BLUE lettering.
If that's OK, I'd give you a heads up on what it will look like when done, plus pics of it before it's ready to be displayed. This is all down the road but I always think ahead, sometimes years ahead. LOL, thanks for everything Phins.

I am using dream weaver as well.
I had no clue where to start sO I am learning using the HELP tab.
It is pretty easy to pick up on. I got a few hours into it last night before
passing out at 2:30 am.
I am supposed to get 4-6" of snow tonight so I may be stuck inside tomorrow.
I hope to get something going with my site.
