Okay, I want to rebuild the a/c in my FC, I know the reciver/dryer has to be replaced, I have to find another condenser, I was wanting to know if anyone else has converted theirs to R-134a, and what problems issues they have run into. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I did it on the vert, week later it blew the compressor but while it was running got the temps down to 50 in the sun(not bad for having a black top).

Wow, that was helpful.

So if I change the reciver/drier, and clean the system really good, I should be okay?

My FC was converted to the newer R134 refrigerant, but it has a leak somewhere we think. Should I get it charged and observe it?

The have a UV dye that you use a specail flash light and glasses with to find leaks.

Does yours work good otherwise with the R-134a.

I wouldn't know. The girl converted it before selling me the car, all I've gotten is hot air....
