Top, side, bottom. Those terms are all so arbitrary. Facing the firewall, now that's a little more specific.

So anyone know what it is? I tried in the manual but didnt find it..

Okay, on page 118 of the Haynes manual, there is another little doohickey called an Air Supply Valve which is located in the position you describe. The check procedure is on page 131. Resistance should be between 16.5 and 23.5 ohms.

I just have the FSM from Ilovemyrx7.com; also that thing is now blocked off, doesnt seem to cause any issues.
