think my throttle cable gets stuck. From time to time the idle gets to the sweet spot (under 1000 rpms). But it likes to hover A Lot at 1,500. Its not consistant. Some times when I drive it, it will hang out at 1500 and not go down at all other times it will get down to 1000 but it won't stay there for the next time Im at idle. May be I need to adjust the TPS? Any thoughts?

yeah it would be worth a shot. when i got my 7 it idled all funky. it would idle low and cut off then idle high and stay there... i adjusted my TPS and had a bac valve and aws vavle (i think that what its called) laying around on another intake i had and put those on... runs great.

you also want to check the thermo wax, its the thing that bumps the throttle open when the car is cold. if theres air in it, or the hoses are plugged up, it can intermittantly idle high like you describe
