forgive the newbie question, but i can't figure out where this sensor goes.

 

it is infront of the upper intake manifold, but i might have missed it when i put the upperintake manifold on the motor. So it might go underneath.

That little plastic thing at the end of a wire?

Man, it looks like you went crazy with the wire wrapping!



It looks like it needs to be plugged into the water temp sensor under the oil filter.

Check the water temp sensor if it has the yellow wire plugged into it.

If it's not, then you need to reroute that plug back to the sensor on the other side of the engine.
