Strange Timing?

Timing on L1 is dead on the yellow..

Timing on T1 is still on the yellow mark.



I have no split!!!! WTF???

maybe the coil went bad?

take the spark plug out and check to make sure it is firing

If it wasn't firing he couldn't check the timing.

maybe you're experiencing crossfire through the wires, are they in close proximity of eachother anywhere? (L and T)

Oh yea if it runs good the the coils is not bad. check the PLUG wire resitance.

For those not up on my progress. This is on a stock 86 Base ECU (originally Auto) with a manual TB, and no emissions.

I now have split. Go figgure?

Rock solid 800 RPM idle

maybe you caught it at some wierd time where it has no split? there are a few instances where the ecu will run no split (cranking)
