Hey guys i have a 89 GXL non turbo it has a 5 speed and a 3inch straight pipe. I street race and auto x it. Once i get up around 5 grand or more and let of till it backe fires, then get back on it it will pore out smoke untill i hit 5 gear or let off and get it down to like 3 or less rpms. i talked with someone that knows quit a bit about the RX-7 and he siad to just let it smoke that there wasn't much to do about it. IF you guys have any info on this **** let me know thanks..... ohh yea it dosn't leak oil..... any info is thanked .

you have no cats...theres nothing there to stop/absorb extra oil and fuel and gases etc

So then what your saying is that this isn't bad for the car and isn't harming anything to my motor? Does this mean that my car is running fine or should i get new seals, or would that be a waste of money.

it's likely a sign of your oil control rings going out, check your crankcase ventilation.
