Remove your oil filler cap temporary and go for a ride. See if it smokes...

Okay.

If it does, it's the turbo? If it doesn't, it's the motor?

Okay! I finally got around to doing this today. There is still a tiny bit of smoke when I run to redline at full throttle and shift, but nothing like it was with the cap on. So what does this tell me???

it tells you that your crankcase is pressurizing. That is you either screwed up the vac hose job/emissions removal or the lines that bleed the crankcase is clogged or ripped open
