I just recently my motor has been acting up. It idles fine, but when you give it some throttle and hold to 2000-2200, it will rev and hold then drop, then rev, drop, ect. continously. I am not sur eif this is a timing issue or something else. An info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

TPS needing adjustment? Fuel pressure good? Check for air leaks, bad connections, ect. The egr valve diaphragm likes to go to pot and it operates at 1700 - 3600rpm, dependent on vacuum. Just some ideas you may or may not have already gone over.
