Does anyone know the length, pitch, size of the bolts that bolt up the 87 5sp tranny to an 87 T2 block?

And the qty of bolts too.

Thanks

Owen

OK, 10 bolts with 14MM head size? So that's an M12 bolt diameter or so?

Jedi, did you finish the rebuild? Any chance you were able to measure...or remember how many were the same length?

Thanks

If the S5 NA bolts are the same as the ones you need, I can measure them, I have a full motor and transmission sitting in my garage waiting for a compression test.

Unfortunately for you I have two little girls and they seem to think daddys tools are great fun to play with so I have no way of measuring the bolts. Heres a pic next to a pack of cigs though if that helps.

Note that the bolt to the far right has a nut and a small slot on the end. I cant remember if there is any real significance.

Oh and thats all of them. Just six
