Why can't you? I have no need for the vaccum lines now. I run my lines from the bottom of the upper manifold for my BOV and boost gauge. The brakes are off of the side of the upper and my wastegate is off of the turbo. So technically I could get rid of it, right??

Since we are on the subject of gaskets, where can I find the upper and lower manifold gaskets? I have looked everywhere except the last possible place I could think of and hope that its not from them, the Mazda dealer.

i dont know why you cant get rid of the spacer....other than no gasket in between the UIM and TB and that they would prolly fuse togther.....id keep it there though

those are easy gaskets to find.... mazdatrix....atkinsrotary....they should have it
