New brushes and a clean up usually are all they need. $15-$20

it could just be the starter solenoid, which is what went bad on mine. that was like $30 for a new one at Autozone or O'Reilly, whereever i got it.

I went to this NON English speaking old man in Hialeah. he rebuilt mine for $75.00 and gave me a year warranty. That thing goes VOOOOOOOOOMMMMM. real nice. Mazda, I will hardly ever go there unless absolutely necessary. Dealers are prce rediculous.

sorry, it's an '87. pretty much anything not under the hood is useless on this car, and I don't even know the condition of the motor.



And I already bought the one from Mazda. I figure, if this one lasted almost 150k miles, then the next one should do fine for the life of the vehicle.
