just like the topic says. I turn the key and i hear a click, but the engine doesnt crank. I jumped it from a car and it started. Tried that again today and nothing. Please help, and also i have the starter out and i tested it on my battery and the gear thing kicks out .

 

weak battery or loose/bad connection. clean and tighten your battery connections and the main connection at the starter and give her a try....

 

Thanks for the suggetions, I will try that tomorrow, maybe ill get a grounding kit.
