+ from battery to the solenoid of the starter

- goes from battery to chassis to the longer of the 2bolts of the starter

then the 3rd small ~10gauge female connector wire to the male connector on the solenoid

If this doesnt work, have someone turn the key while using a fuse tester to make sure you have the right wire from the harness to starter. Otherwise have your battery and starter tested at a local parts store (usually free) and check all your fuses.

Post results.

look at the pic of the starter you posted and only the yellow and blue circles go to the starter, disregard the black circle, put the black circle back how it was (should look like copper ground strap bolted to the solenoid and into the starter), attach the blue circle wire which should be negative from battery to the long bolt holding your starter to the tranny( should be about 6-8 inch bolt with a 14mm head, yellow cirlce is correct if that wire comes from the + side of battery.......blue circle looks correct also......

- from battery to the long bolt holding starter to tranny

+ from battery to the starter solenoid(your yellow circle in pic)

the female/male connector is fine

the black circle in your pic, put nut back on it and dont hook nothing up to it that wasnt already there.............

make better sense???
