i just installed my mariah motorsports cold air box and was going to take it out for a spin to see what my new part did. well i tried to turn it over but it gave the occasional flooding bit. i was on a slight slant so i figuerd that may have done it, i dont know. i did the simple 3 step technic with the egi comp fuse and no good. then did the 5 step deal with the removal of the plugs and the fuse and clear out the engine that way. still no work. did that like 6 times tonight and never got anything. the fuel pump is working, you can hear it. im sure with my new filter in getting air flow. i was thinking next was spark. but i have no timing gun. ill be getting one now. the rx is now at a friends house probably for the weekend now any one have any thought on what it could be. any ideas would be nice. i am unfortunatly new to engines. its my first car. 88 non turbo if you nead to know. thanks.

Make sure you plugged the AFM back in near the air filter. Your car will not run without that plugged in.

A simple machanics rule is if something dosn't work check the last thing you messed with, chanches are the problem is there. And remember the KISS rule (keep it simple stupid)

if the problem dosn't go away than try the trix you have learned to revive the machine.
