Ok, i'm really getting sick of this car... one thing leads to another...

#1, i cannot get the primary rail to go down correctly for ****... any tips? i had to replace the rubber insulators underneath... but it won't seat correctly.

#2, one of the groups of wires that leads to the MOP connection... one of them goes to the MOP.. the other is all frayed and torn up. ANYONE know what this other group of wires is... its Black, Blue, and Yellow.

Not sure about the rail. I would only suggest that you just make sure you are going in striaght with it, but i assume that you have that covered.

I dont know off the top of my head but i will find out the wires for you tomorrow if someone doesnt beat me to it.

if those wires are frayed... it wouldnt have any bearing on how the car runs would it? it would be like not having an OMP right?

if the OMP wires are damaged and it cant operate, the ECU goes into "limp" mode.

what exactly is wrong when you ty to put the rail in? did you remember the plastic spacer that goes between the rail/engine where you bolt the rail down?

Do they go INTO the MOP plug? All of those wires should be black and something, not single coloured. (except one that is brown / white)

Every wire that goes into that plug is either used for MOP function or to monitor the MOP. There are 3 wires for monitoring, but they are brown / white, green / black, brown / black.

Are you using that spacer for the pri rail? There is a black spacer that goes under the part where it bolts down. Thats kinda a pita to get lines up, I usually put 2 small screwdrivers down the holes to get it all lines up good then replace them on at a time with a screw. Or you could prob just silicone it down, just make sure its exactly where it needs to be

If that isnt your prob be more descriptive. I'm not sure about the metering pump wires, I dont run one, I'm pre mix only.

ok well my OMP wires are frayed and messed up.. so i disconnected it.. they were laying near the CAS and causing the car to do funny things..car would rev itself up to like 4k and make a weird noise from the CAS area... guess it was interference?

I got the injectors in fine now.. just had to push down a little harder to get the angle correct.

I'm guessing now that my car is flooded.. it spins, but won't actually crank up... just some fuel smelling misty smoke like stuff coming outta the exhaust.. (unburnt fuel)... so i'm guessing i'll have to unflood the engine and hopefully it will crank correctly this time...

damn primaries are still leaking air... can hear it hissing... but moving those frayed wires out of the way and everything cleared up the other problems i was having...

unfortunatly i just broke my MAP sensor's nipple.. (must hurt for MAP sensors) so anyone got a stock one for sale for cheap?

Or anyone know anything about the GM3Bars?

So now i just have a vacuum leak.. then it should be all good.

There are little round rubber peices that go in before the rail and they have a white dot on them.

Did you install those? If not you'll leaks air/vacume there and it'll make your car run like crap and hard to start. Also, the map sensor will make it run like crap to so you need to replace (or temp fix) that before cranking it up.
