while installing a new clutch in my buddy's FC turbo we decided to tackle his shifter woes. like just about every other FC out there, his is missing it's shifter bushings. we were debating back and forth between the mazdatrix short-shifter and just installing new shift bushings when we came across the novel idea of using an NA (as in chassis) shifter in it. we acquired said shifter and then came to the realization that no where can we find what shifter bushings we need to use: NA or FC. thought i'd post and see if anyone has any experience in this subject. thanks guys!

All the bushings I have seen so far look the same and have been interchangeable.

the NA bushings are slightly different on part numbers and parts involved. it looks like we're going to order both sets and see what we need from either one. we'll post our findings.

yea, they're cheap as hell anyway, so why not... ive heard that with just a tiny bit of trimming, the FC bushings will work, although i havent tried this myself
