ok, my shifter is acting goofy, and I am going to replace the bushings and whatnot in order to try and make it better, it is difficult to get into 2nd gear on occasion, and there is a piece of rubber (visible when I remove the boot) that has melted almost completely, so I need to order this piece, plus bushings to see if that clears up the sloppy shifting any, I am assuming the piece I need to get is the middle boot for 86-92 RX7? is there anything else I should get while I am at it? aside of course from the true dual exhuast (want it so badly) also, is there anywhere I can order a short shifter for less than $200?

If you call MazdaTrix, they will tell/sell you everything you need as far as bushings go. They do also sell the shifter, but warn that certain cars will have a noise when you install the shifter.
