1Revvin7, about the vacuum port on the LIM, the one the juts out diagonally toward the firewall, are you sure it goes to the firewall side of the throttle body (and by throttle body, you mean all those vacuum ports on the UIM right after the throttle body, right)? Right now I have it running to the FPR (thing on the firewall side of the secondary fuel rail), as per the emissions removal write-up from the evil forum. Again, I'm trying to diagnose my non-idling problem. Also, does anyone know to where the vacuum line from the top of the stock BOV goes?

Sorry to hijack your thread, tancred, so I'll try to offer some advice. The turbo can be a real pain to take off; you pretty much have to take the DP off. What do you mean when you say that two of the DP bolts snapped off? On my TII, the DP is fastened to the turbo by studs and bolts. Anyway, if you can't get the DP off the turbo, it's going to be a lot more difficult. You might wanna try disconnecting the DP from the rest of your exhaust and then try to snake the DP and turbo out the bottom of the car, though I don't know if that might be possible. Whenever I take the turbo off my car, I always lift it out from the top, though it usually takes some wriggling.

ZenRx you're right.
That's a S5 LIM, right? The only vac ports on my LIM are the one at the very bottom between the oil injectors, and the one I was asking about earlier that's going to the FPR. What size bolts did you use in place of the oil injectors? Also, I'm assuming that the vac line from the BOV also goes to the ports just past the throttle body, but should it plug into a port on the alternator side, or the firewall side? Or does it matter? Thanks.

So will this work, i never did find out by searching what exactly we all agreed this part was again, i have no different models, one with a nipple in the middle, one without, im going to put the one without on my car just because it seems to be simpler.

Also, its been so long since ive seen my TB and UIM together im having a hard time remembering whats going where, i have that coolant line that used to connect to the BAC and continue on, did it connect to the top of the TB? all these open vac holes, and nothing to connect them too is quite nice, also, vac line sticking up near where my EGR was, cap it? I can post pics if anyone needs, I think i am going to be able to write a really good Emissions removal, in its entirety with tons of pics if anyone would be interested....

Anyways, still need a little help before i can finish things up..........

tancred <--- im having boost withdrawls, i need TURBO!
